For the 6th year in a row we have been awarded a Good Service Award organised by Amateur Photographer magazine. It’s all thanks to you who voted for us, that it’s a Gold Award for the 4th time in a row.
Comedian Tim Clarke, who co-presented the glittering awards ceremony in the Gladstone Library at One Whitehall Place, London, presented our team with the star-shaped trophy.
He said: “The Good Service Awards were established to recognise and reward outstanding retailers.
“They are voted for by AP readers. By displaying the Good Service Award in your store or on your website, photographers can be reassured that the service they will receive from you, whether it will be on the high street or online, will be a cut above the rest.”
We are thrilled to know that you, our customers believe in our practices, trust our staff with knowledge and perceive us as your go-to professional retailer.
It was the 40th anniversary of the awards ceremony, which was created to celebrate the cream of the UK photography industry.
Speaking about the customer service award, Photography Group Editor Nigel Atherton, who also hosted the event, said: “Our readers tell us time and again what they want from a retailer is a good range of stock at competitive prices, but they also want outstanding customer service, which means extensive subject knowledge and a willingness to bend over backwards to help and to solve problems when they occur.”
Jon Warner, our Managing Director, said: “We are hugely proud that once again our hard work, investment and dedication to each and every one of our customers has been recognised.
“Everything we do is about our customers and how we can make their buying or renting experience better. Our reputation is incredibly important to us and this is always at the forefront of our minds when it comes to service and dealing with our customers.”
