It’s World Photo Day – a celebration of photography – so it’s only right that everyone at Calumet gets involved!

At Calumet we’re enthusiastic about photography whether we’re beginners or long-established photographers. Today we’re sharing our world with you to demonstrate that we’re a broad team not only in geography, but skill and genre too.

We invite you to enjoy a photographic journey with Team Calumet!

Andy Hoang – Bristol
Profoto B1 with OCF white beauty dish as the fill.

Duncan Robertson – Edinburgh
Saint Fillans by Loch Earn. Fujifilm Finepix HS 50 EXR, 100 ISO 1/600 F4.

Leanne Gater – Manchester
Panther Chameleon. Sony A6300, Canon 100mm f/2.8 L USM Macro, Metabones EF-E Smart Adapter Mk IV. A Panther Chameleon photographed in the Vivarium at Manchester Museum.

Andrew Tarnawczyk – London
Dusted. Sony a900, Minolta 28mm f2.0. This photograph has been taken in old house and dress has been created out of bin bags. I tried to sneak a waste and pollution problems into fashion photoshoot. It resulted in very dreamy look but with a cold and raw feel to it.

Adam Turner – Milton Keynes
Speed.  Canon EOS 450D with a Tamron 70-300mm. The picture is taken during the 2011 Formula 1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone. I chose this image as it shows a Formula 1 car at its peak performance. Formula 1 cars speed comes from its ability to carry and take corners at high speed. I really enjoy watching and capturing this moment. It is physics and engineering combining with the talent, skill and bravery of the driver.

Nick Woodford – Milton Keynes
Arthurs Seat, Edinburgh. I love this different layers to this photograph, every time I look at it I spot something different. I find when I look at the photograph my eyes are drawn to the seagull then to the city and the cars driving up by the lake, then to the hikers down below and finally to the man clambering the rocks, each section tells a different story.

Lyn Fairfull – Milton Keynes
Danish Dragon. Fujifilm X-T10 with an XF 16-55mm f/2.8 R WR. My 2016 seems to be an unofficial tour of Europe, starting on 1 January when I snapped this aerial dragon in Tivoli Gardens, Copenhagen. The X-T10 was a delight for night-shots without any stabilisation.

Jason Chetwynd-Cox – Edinburgh
The Trossachs, Scotland 2016. Canon EOS 5D Mark II with Canon L Series 16-35mm f2.8.

Adrian Askew – London
Warehouse. Canon EOS 5D Mark III, Canon 85mm f/1.2, Canon 600EX-RT Speedlites, 3ft OctoBox, 4ft Strip Softbox and Rogue Flash Gels – Combo Filter Kit.

Zane Davis – Milton Keynes
Bluebells in Dockey Wood in the Chiltern Hills, 2016. Nikon D800.

Jody Demay-Davies – London
On The Streets. Canon EOS 7D MK II with a 24-105mm. I’ve just returned from Rio after spending two weeks on a shoot at the Olympics. We went around Sao Paulo for the day and found an area where people were sleeping on the streets, and I mean on the streets.

Arsen Hokera – London
Yong Buddha. Canon EOS 60D and Canon EF 50mm f1.4 @ f4.5, 1/250s, ISO320. Off camera left a 430EX Speedlite firing through Lastolite 60×60 Softbox. The artists in the picture is “Yong Buddha” who is a really cool musician with an amazing voice and a great message in his music. Picture was taken at Dalkey Beach in Ireland.

Ryan Francis – Bristol
Up in the air.

Jorge Mendes – London
