On the 24th of May, Calumet hosted a special event at Band Studios in Bristol with Profoto Ambassador Andy Kruczek. Delegates had the opportunity to find out more about the Profoto range of lighting solutions.
As well as the learning about the light shaping tools available and setting up, there was the chance to pick up skills in portraiture and product photography. Attendees enjoyed the opportunity to shoot a customised Harley Davidson motorbike and a professional model in a fully equipped studio environment. For many, this was a unique experience!
Eizo were also on hand to help with workflow, so the event took everyone from how to get a great photograph all the way through to viewing on the big screen.
Andy Hoang, Manager of Calumet’s Bristol store said: “It was a fantastic day with a great turn out. People were queuing outside the studio keen to learn more about Profoto and the light which it can produce. We gave guidance on how to use the product and really encourage those who turned up to get hands on. Hopefully those who have attended can confidently tackle lighting situations in their own scenarios. Great experience overall.”
